The archive emphasizes the rare books by separating the book stacks from other programmatic spaces. The book stacks are treated as archived objects, suspended from the Ground Floor and creating an architectural effect on the programmatic spaces below. Access to the suspended book stacks is limited, and the circulation of the books is managed automatically. The Book stacks are also used as partitions to divide the spaces for programmatic needs, and providing shelving spaces for reading rooms and office programs.
